Description

Appointment with your guide at the port of Sorrento by the cafè Ruccio.

Get on board a speed motorboat and enjoy a scenic ride along the Coastline. Arriving in Marina Grande, you will start the tour reaching the upper part of the island where it’s located the flight of steps leading down to the entrance of the Blue Grotto.

Jump carefully on board of the little paddle boat that will lead you into the magical Blue cave.

Next stop… Anacapri!

Anacapri is on the hill of the island and it hosts the Villa of the swedish doctor Axel Munthe and the thrilling “Seggiovia of Monte Solaro”; a chairlift leading at the bottom of the Mountain from where it’s possible to admire an unmatchable panorama of the Gulf.

Let’s head to Capri!

By joining a quick ride on the “Mamma Mia Road” we’ll reach in a few minutes the center of the island.

We’ll explore the little Piazzetta of Capri with its iconic Clock overlooking the sea, the narrow streets wrapping the square, the fashion Via Camerelle and the Certosa San Giacomo facing the unique perfume shop Carthusia born here!

Enjoy some free time to have lunch, visit the Augustus Gardens or just sip a coffee or a delicious Gelato before catching the funicular to return to the port.

Once in Marina Grande, according to the timing of the day, you will have free time to join a boat tour of the island or catch the hydrofoil to return to Sorrento.

Meet your guide at the port of Sorrento as per meeting point
Arrival in Marina Grande - Port of Capri, the hydrofoil ride lasts about 40 minutes
Transfer by line minibus from Marina Grande to the entrance of the Blue Grotto
Walk till the battle boat that will lead you into the cave - time to experience the Blue Grotto
Walk uphill to catch the bus getting into Anacapri
Free time in Anacapri
Catch the bus to Capri
Guided Tour and free time in Capri
Funicular from La Piazzetta in Capri to Marina Grande
Free time in Marina Grande OR return straight to Sorrento (depending on the timing of the day)
End of the services at the port of Sorrento

Know before to go

Bring a hat and sunscreen to protect from the sun during the summer season
In case the Blue Grotto will be not accessible due to the sea level, the entrance fee will be refunded or replaced (tour operator’s choice)with a boat tour of the island (weather permitting)
The Blue Grotto is accessible after a long flight of steps (downhill and uphill) - the surface may be slippery.
Optional activities may be scheduled during the free time; they are not included and have to be paid locally - Villa San Michele, Chairlift in Anacapri, Giardini di Augusto in Capri, Boat Tour of the Island (the boat tour strictly depends on the timing of the day and it may be not possible to include the free time at the port to join this optional extra activity)
